Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) serves as a cultural and intellectual hub with a vibrant multilingual and multicultural community for 7,500 students. The campus recently began construction on Phase VII of its master plan which includes a new Academic Hall that will provide state of the art engineering laboratories, classrooms, office spaces, meeting rooms, a counseling center and a greenhouse. Datum Rios is providing structural design services.

 

In addition, the project adds a new Support Services Building. The new building will be approximately 19,000 sq. ft. and provide ample space for receiving and purchasing activities. It will also house the campus police offices.

The international campus complex represents an investment in higher education in Texas of over $250 million.
